At Dongyiyuan, we think eco packaging is as important as the products inside the box. That’s why we care so much about sustainable packaging for dog treats. We’re trying to make dog owners feel good not only about what their dogs are eating, but also about its environmental impact.
So many companies use plastic to wrap up dog treats, and it is so bad for our planet because, as you know, plastic can take ages to break down. At Dongyiyuan, we choose materials that are gentler on the Earth. For instance, we rely on recycled paper and biodegradable products. Our packaging can degrade much more quickly than plastic and does not linger and leave bad stuff behind.
At its core, sustainability is about not using up our resources in such a way that we damage the environment. Dongyiyuan also offers sustainable packaging such as with reuseable containers. Customers can return these containers for refills of their dog treats. This cuts down on waste and promotes a cycle of reuse that is far better for the environment than using new materials every time.
“To be environmnet friendly is not to harm the environment. Our packaging is Earth loving. Apart from awful smut books and pissin' away money on toys, I also make a large amount of product packaging. Readin' Fb, or talkin' to people that work elsewhere - it hasn't been a big movin' point for many years now, but wasteful packaging does seem more grating than it used to. At my company, we do not seem to waste as much packaging/material as other companies in our industry and since I order materials here n there, I see a lot of packaging, and while we recycle and try to use dergadable products, ALL the packaging still seems too much to me. If I need to use an additional layer plastic cuffing around a product, I would rather find a way to do without that extra pocket than add the extra plastic to the Flood I wouldn't be happy about needing in the first place. This way, we help clean up the air and save the climate.
We have wholesale eco-friendly packaging available for stores that would like to sell our dog treats.
